Please join us on Sunday, November 14, 8am-1pm, for a trail clean up day at Daniels Road State Forest. We need to blow/rake everything! Stone Wall needs a re-route around a wet spot. Several trails have some drainage issues that need to be addressed. Food and drinks afterwards in the parking lot. See you there!

Sorry folks, but we had to cancel this event this year due to some scheduling conflicts. Looking forward to hosting next year!
SMBA & Friends of Grafton Lakes State Park will be hosting the EPIC Ride between Pittstown State Forest & GLSP! Get ready for a full day adventure checking out the awesome trails at both parks! Plan on 20-25 mile ride on intermediate / advanced level trails with plenty of climbing & descending! Bring your legs for this one!

Pittstown road work
We received a note from the Forester at Pittstown that some major road rehab is being done between 9/7 -9/24.
Please use the first Kiosk Parking area for parking while construction is being done, and do not drive down the road as culverts are getting replaced in many areas throughout the road.
Pittstown Epic Ride 7/17, 9am
The ride will begin & end at the Long Pond Beach area in Grafton Lakes State Park. We’ll break into a few groups based on pace & ability. Please allow yourself enough time to gear up, sign in and be ready to roll at 9am.
The ride will be approx. 20 miles long through the trails of GLSP & Pittstown State Forest. https://www.trailforks.com/route/smba-epic-2021/ Beautiful scenery, long climbs & long descents on intermediate to advanced level trails. More details to come on the ride route, mileage, elevation, etc.
We’ll have a support station at the mid-way point of the ride in Pittstown State Forest. Drinks and snacks will be available, as well as mechanical & emotional support!
Once we’ve made our way back to Grafton it will be time for some grillin’ & chillin’ by the lake! Lunch & refreshments will be waiting for you courtesy of SMBA! Bring your swimsuit & towel to cool off in the lake after the ride!
We’ll also have SMBA t-shirts & swag available for sale. So don’t forget your wallets!
