We received a note from the Forester at Pittstown that some major road rehab is being done between 9/7 -9/24.
Please use the first Kiosk Parking area for parking while construction is being done, and do not drive down the road as culverts are getting replaced in many areas throughout the road.
Pittstown Epic Ride 7/17, 9am
The ride will begin & end at the Long Pond Beach area in Grafton Lakes State Park. We’ll break into a few groups based on pace & ability. Please allow yourself enough time to gear up, sign in and be ready to roll at 9am.
The ride will be approx. 20 miles long through the trails of GLSP & Pittstown State Forest. https://www.trailforks.com/route/smba-epic-2021/ Â Beautiful scenery, long climbs & long descents on intermediate to advanced level trails. More details to come on the ride route, mileage, elevation, etc.
We’ll have a support station at the mid-way point of the ride in Pittstown State Forest. Drinks and snacks will be available, as well as mechanical & emotional support!
Once we’ve made our way back to Grafton it will be time for some grillin’ & chillin’ by the lake! Lunch & refreshments will be waiting for you courtesy of SMBA! Bring your swimsuit & towel to cool off in the lake after the ride!
We’ll also have SMBA t-shirts & swag available for sale. So don’t forget your wallets!

Earth Day Event in Pittstown 4/18, 10am
SMBA will be hosting an Earth Day event at Pittstown State Forest to get the trails cleaned up and ready for the season! We have a number of projects planned to keep everyone spread out and distanced. Please join us and give a little back to the trails!
Spring Trail Clean Up 4/24
Please join us on Saturday 4/24 from 8am-12pm to clean up Daniels Road State Forest Trails. Activities will include: raking, leaf blowing, stone work, and bridge repair. (We already took care of this tree!) If you have a blower, bring it! Food and beverages in the parking lot afterwards. Perfect socially distant activity!
