SMBA is thrilled to announce that we received a grant to make some long overdue updates to our website and marketing materials. We are nothing without our members and we hope that by making our interface more user-friendly and visible we will be able to turn all those riders at Daniels Road and Pittstown into lifetime members!

According to PTNY, “The ninth round of our grant program was particularly competitive but your application and the proposed impact you aim to make in 2024–the Centennial year of our parks system–stood out in all the best ways. We are looking forward to working with you to make our public lands more accessible and engaging, and to set a standard of stewardship and preservation for future generations of visitors.”

We plan on opening up 2024 membership in March. We hope to have the new site up and running, so check back here or on the socials for updates!

SMBA closed out 2023 with our annual year-end meeting at The Mill on Round Lake. So great to get SMBA members together over food and drinks and talk about trails! New officers were elected, and lots of plans were discussed. Stay tuned for membership perks in 2024!

SMBA has been awarded $250 courtesy of ExtremeTerrain’s Clean Trail Initiative Program! This money will offset the expenses at our Spring Trail Day!
