Established by the Rensselaer Plateau Alliance (RPA), the Poestenkill Community Forest (PCF)  is a 350-acre community forest in Poestenkill, NY. The PCF provides recreational access for local communities and visitors, serves as a demonstration area of best management practices for forest stewardship, and provides other educational programs for adults and children. SMBA looks forward to teaming with RPA to develop a multi-use trail system and mountain bikes skills area in the CF. In the process, we’ll promote sustainable trail building techniques and responsible mountain biking skills by hosting a series of clinics and hands-on trail building workshops.
